You are here because you are looking for your new family member. Here at SHB we believe every dog/puppy has a family waiting for them. We have puppies available and we also keep some of our best pups to raise for people who are looking for a young adult 6mos to 2 years. We realize that not everyone is looking to add a puppy to their family and that a young adult may suit their needs better. We also have young adults that would be suited for therapy or service dogs.

We offer payment options & financing after a $600.00 deposit.

Pricing of our wonderful hounds is for the time, money and training we provide.

Because of SCAMS....we WILL NOT work with anyone that does not fill out the application and go through the application process. We will contact you as soon as we receive your application by phone.

At Stud Hound Bassets we only place our puppies with amazing forever families. We make sure that your new puppy is the right puppy for you and your lifestyle and ensure it will be a forever addition to your family.

*Puppies are sold to PET HOMES with SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACTS and are sold WITH A FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL CONTRACT: meaning if you can no longer keep your puppy, for any reason, it comes back to Stud Hound Bassets or you must get our permission and approval to rehome your puppy.

*However, we are willing to discuss purchase of a puppy if intended for breeding/show AKC, CKC Registration. These puppies would be double the asking price and will have a different contract.

This however does not include our rare colored pups, only standard colors.

Stud Hound Bassets gives a 2-year hereditary guarantee on Basset

puppies. If your dog has hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, or a hereditary blood disease you would receive a replacement puppy of equal value as soon as one is available or, years later when your family is ready. WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS.

Puppies go home with their first two sets of puppy vaccinations, deworming's, vet health check, CVI, 1st month of insurance and New Puppy Packet.

We offer VIP personal transportation for your puppy. Stud Hound Bassets does not ship puppies in Cargo. Transportation arrangements are in cabin flight or by car. This VIP service is not included with the purchase price of your puppy.

5% of every puppy purchase goes to a Basset Hound Rescue. This is done at the end of each year.

Each puppy placement here at stud hound bassets is discussed on an individual basis. Prices of each puppy is negotiated between SHB and their new family. The most important thing is finding the right home and fit for our amazing puppies.

Our application process: after you have completed and submitted the application you will be contacted by SHB for a phone interview. Once we talk with you we will contact your references and vet. Then after that we will do a live/video walk through of your home with you and your family.

We offer a $250.00 discount to all Veterans and a $400.00 discount if you purchase 2 puppies

Our Dogs are ACA, AKC, CKC. Registration paper information is released(ONLY TO OWNERS WITH A REGISTRATION CONTRACT)one year after purchase and proof of spay/neuter due to people trying to steal my lines, and fake papers and breed my dogs!
